Thank you for sharing your love story.... I had both your parents as teachers at F.H.S in the early 80's. Your mother in particular had a profound impact on my life. I have been a " foodie" ever since.... she taught me how to take pride in the preparation and presentation of food. I still " pound" boneless chicken and roll in eggs and crumbs for " special" occasions as per her instruction. I LOVED HER.... In such turbulent years, she was an ANGEL in my world. God Bless

Dear Kendra and Family. Our thoughts and prayers are for continued peace for your family as you go through this sad parting with your lovely mother. She really is so beautiful. I am glad I got to meet Renie when she came out for a visit to Alberta. I am sure she is busy watching over all of her grandchildren and other family members. May the peace of God that has blessed you at this time continue with you and abide in your hearts. We love you all and are thinking of you. With sincer condolences. ReplyDeleteDear Kara,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, beautiful love story...
As I read the postings I see so much of your mother in you. If I closed my eyes and did not know this was about her I would think all the words used to describe her, were word's describing you. She has left a great legacy, beautiful daughters and loving sons.
Her grandchildren have wonderful footsteps to walk in.
The love story between your parents is one to be envied and to think it will continue throughout time and all eternity.
I know this journey the past months has been filled with so much emotion: tears, heartache, laughter, joy, sleepless nights, contentment, peace, loss, memories and so many other emotions to numerous to mention, but I also know that as the years pass you will look back on this and you can be content in the knowledge that you served your mother as your Father in Heaven would want you to. Your family saw to her every need and that she found peace through each of you.
I am blessed to know you and blessed to be able to read of this time in your life. Thank you for sharing this journey with all of us.
You are precious Kara....and I am a better person knowing you and learning from you.
"Well done thy good and faithful servant."
Love you,
Sandy Kunz
My dear Blaine and family:
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful was the celebration of Renie's life. It was so filled with her spirit. She was certainly smiling down upon her family and loved how strong and wonderful all of you were. I was so grateful to share in this very special time. Now is the time to begin the healing process. I am so grateful that you each have a testimony of our Saviour and what he has done for us as well as your knowledge of the plan of happiness. Renie is there with your son & brother waiting for the day for that great family reunion. Even being apart from your family I have always felt a comfort when your names were mentioned or the times you were able to visit this part of the country. You are all examples of the things that made Renie - Renie. Blaine - you know where I stand as far as you and Renie are concerned. I have no doubt that you will be serving others as soon as possible as that is the man you are. You and Renie complimented each other in so many ways.
Thank you for sharing the final times with your mom. It was so beautiful and has given me the desire to do better and to be better. I pray that the love you have for each other that will continue through eternity will be something that I will have. Something that Mike and I can work toward.
Take care my dear friend and know that you are loved and in many prayers.
Luv,
Tina
